- Try lowering the MaxTransfer rate inside HDToolbox. This is a common cause
- of corrupted data. (Select "Partition Drive", then "Advanced options",
- then "Change" to find the value.)

- It's running off a modified IBM-XT 150W PSU.

- I would still have to think that read/write errors and corrupted data are
- caused by a software problem. If the HD starts getting unrepairable
- bad-blocks, then it might be hardware related.
